  • Check-in new incoming students (copying immigration documents)
  • Hand out check-in packets and going over important arrival information with new incoming students
  • Help set up and clean up orientation events (involves heavy lifting)
  • Lead breakout sessions
  • Lead Campus tours
  • But most importantly, help new students feel welcome in their new environment!

OISS is looking for students with a variety of interests, points of view, and backgrounds who wish to be a member of a cohesive unit with the best interests of the new students, the University, and OISS in mind.

If you are interested, you are encouraged to apply. The deadline to apply is May 26, 2017 by 4:00 pm. Download the application here.

We think you will find being an International Orientation Leader an extremely rewarding experience and among the best you will have at UCSB!
