International Student Advisory Board

ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS UNTIL OCTOBER 18, 2018 for the 2018-19 academic year.

The International Student Advisory Board (ISAB) is a select group of both international and U.S. undergraduate and graduate students. Undergraduate students will receive 2 independent study units per quarter (sorry, graduate students are not eligible for units). It is the expectation that ISAB members will:

  • Attend and participate in weekly meetings (time TBD based on member availability)
  • Participate in international student life at UCSB, especially clubs
  • Advocate for international students and international education
  • Actively work to promote intercultural competency on campus
  • Help OISS identify opportunities for improving campus climate for international students
