Secrets to Success: What All International Students Should Know

When: Every other Tuesday from 12:00-1:00PM (week 1, 3, 5, 7, 9)
Where: Transfer Student Center Conference Room
Who: Everyone is welcome! Facilitated by CAPS counselor Junichi Shimaoka and OISS advisor Maya James.

FREE PIZZA! Come have lunch with us! Every other week the International Student Lunch Discussion Group meets to discuss topics of shared interest, or whatever is on your mind. Facilitated by CAPS Counselor Dr. Junichi Shimaoka and OISS advisor Maya James, this is a place to share your experiences, frustrations, and questions with others in a casual discussion setting. Conversation is casual, but sometimes we talk about issues that come up during the quarter, for example:

4/02 – (Week 1) Welcome Back and Hopes for the Spring Quarter

4/16 – (Week 3) Remembering Self-Care and Wellness

4/30 – (week 5) Celebrating our Success, Strength, and Growth

5/14 – (week 7) Keeping the Motivation Going

5/28 – (week 9) End of the Year, Graduation, and Beyond
